I want to continue my exploration of the unity of religions, but to do that I need to provide some background on the Buddhist teachings about “emptiness” (Sanskrit: shunyata). As I wrote in my last post, “emptiness” is the teaching which appears to set Buddhism apart from all the other major world religions. Emptiness will be my theme for exploring the similarity or difference of Buddhism from the other major world religions.
But to do this I need to create some background, which I will be doing that in this series of three podcasts. This is the first of the three.
